Summer 5 day/week-driver our trucks.

The Ultimate Summer Gig: Boat Ops & Fleet Crew
The Mission: Looking for a way to spend your summer at the lake instead of stuck in a cubicle? We need a reliable, high-energy person to help get our fleet to the water and keep things running tight. If you’re looking for one last "great summer" before heading back to school or starting a "grown-up" job in the fall, this is for you.

The Schedule
Saturday – Wednesday (5 days a week)
Full-Time: Up to 50 hours/week.
The Goal: Work hard through the peak season, stack your paycheck, and enjoy your Thursdays and Fridays off while everyone else is working.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
The Tow: Hooking up and hauling boats. You must be a pro at backing up trailers.
The Social Side: You’ll be the face of the company at the ramp—talking to customers, getting them pumped for their day, and helping them load up.
The Prep: Gassing them up, giving them a scrub, and checking the electronics. You're making sure every boat is 100% ready for the water.
The Yard: Keeping the home base straight and organized.
The Workout: This isn't a "sit-down" job. You’ll be climbing up and down trailers and working in the summer heat. It’s physical, it’s fast-paced, and it beats a gym membership.
What You Need to Bring
Experience: A clean driving record and a license for at least 3 years.
The Skill: You can back a trailer into a tight spot on the first try.
The Attitude: You’re a "people person" who is independent enough to get the job done without being micro-managed.
The Hustle: You aren't afraid of a 50lb lift or a little North Carolina humidity.
Why This Gig?
It’s a chance to work outside, be around the water, and gain some serious "real-world" logistics experience. If you’re dependable, fit, and want to do something different this summer, come help us keep the fleet moving.

DOCK STAFF

Dock staff are the face of this on the weekends. They greet customers, answer questions about the boat and lake, get signatures, send people off. Greet them at the end of their day, check over the boat for damages, get signatures, take the boat off the dock, straighten things, clean/wipe if neccessary and load it on the trailer.

CALL THE OFFICE 919-800-9716

BARTERING-Boating Experience docking is required. This is for people that are comfortable on a boat and just want to hang out all day in order to get a free boat rental for a day. Wish we had time to train, but can't fully train someone every Sunday, unless you want to work all summer then see the descriptions above :) We start at 7am at Ledge Rock Boat Ramp and there all day. At least 10 but normally longer. For you-start time will be 8am and at least 8hrs but historically 10. This is for being an Honorary Dockstaff for the day. Drivers (us) drop the boat, you take the boat, go outside the no wake zone, open the top, hang out until we call/wave you in. You'll bring the boat to the dock (here is the stage to show off your docking abilities), we will talk with the customers, you jump on the next one. We all do that until all customers are out. In the afternoon, Reverse, we help customers dock the boat, we will check them back in, you jump on the boat, go outside the no wake zone, fold the top back in, may or may not need to straighten anything, wait for us to wave/call you in to return to the dock and we will load the boat on the trailer. That's it. Anything else you pick up while with us-BONUS! Schedule your free boat day! You pay gas, of course.
